Mars loves Venus. He is absolutely in love with her. However, being a complete idiot and lacking empathy at times, he doesn’t understand that Venus is often uncomfortable when they do the do. Venus relies on Mars to keep her alive since he is the “bread winner” of the household, which is just a cold cave up north in the Crystal Mountains. So she can’t leave him, but she doesn’t necessarily want to either. She admires his idiotic charm and wishes that he could understand things from her point of view.
