As with any creation, yours starts off as a white empty void. At least, that’s what you think. It only makes sense for nothingness to be white, right? But what if nothingness is black?
There, much better. With our pondering of nothingness out of the way, we can worry about more important matters. Like, what are we?
Yes! You’re a swordsman with your trusty rock companion, Wyatt. You love the feel of a sword in your hand, and dream of becoming one of the best, if not THE BEST swordsman to ever exist.
Hallsatt, where you were born and raised. No one has a name here, the concept of “naming” being frowned upon by everyone around you. You however had taking a liking to naming things ever since large beings known as “deer” made a visit to the settlement when you were little. You remember one specifically, probably the leader of the group. You’ll never forget ‘Maific’, mostly because you had named your sword after him.
The community has a large stone structure in the middle, acting as the place where the wisest amongst you gather to discuss events and plan things like harvests or the digging of new dwellings. Violence has never been tolerated. Those who commit violent acts were either kicked out of the community or killed, the latter being fairly hypocritical you think. Because of the view on violence, you’ve always had to have your sword hidden, and practiced either at night or far away from everyone else. Sometimes both.
You awaken from your hay pile and let out a hearty yawn, ready to start today’s tasks. Except, in your half asleep daze, you can’t quite remember what it is that you do in the community.
