Mars Miner is a silly, but slow goofball. He’s loyal to his current roommate Venus and looks up to her as if she is his older sister, however, that doesn’t stop lovey dovey things from happening between them. He enjoys: milkshakes, Legos, mining, and being with his friend Venus. Venus is his only friend, but he tries to hang out with Venus and her friends when they are over, although they see him as rather childish and tend to shy away from him. Ironically, they have used him to fulfill their sexual desires.

Venus Spring is a rather shy, introverted, and caring mare. She looks at Mars like a younger brother, but also a lover since they have been with each other since childhood. She enjoys: soup, spending time with her friends, and reading. She has trouble making friends due to her trust issues, though it doesn’t stop her from trying. Mars is one of the few ponies she trusts, along with the few friends she has. She doesn’t spend much time with them, but enjoys what little time is shared together.

Backstory: When Venus was born she was left on the doorstep to the Vanhoover Orphanage. The Owner of the orphanage, Happy Heart, found her alone, crying and dirty. Happy Heart immediately took her to the police station in an attempt to find her real parents. After two weeks of searching they came up empty hooved and Happy Heart took her in as an orphan and placed her with the other fillies and colts. After four happy years in the orphanage she was called out of her bunk to attend their weekly visit to the park. She was approached by a stallion who offered her candy, being told that she had to follow him to get it she did so without question. They made their way to a shack in the woods where she was sexually assaulted and abused by multiple stallions, she was left in the shack for several hours, hopeless, broken and afraid. Until a curious little red colt discovered the seemingly abandoned shack with intentions to bunk there for the night. He searched around the shack until he found a little space that he could crawl through, after getting inside he discovered Venus laying on the floor asleep.  He woke her up and saved her during the night. Together they went back to the orphanage and he became an orphan with her. During their years in the orphanage venus was a target for bullies, Mars would frequently stand up for her. The rest of her life was uneventful up until high school where she was an even bigger target for bullies and was sexually assaulted by developing stallions on multiple occasions. Mars was unable to stick up for her as much due to the fact that he was placed in Special Educational classes. After high school they were hesitantly forced to leave by a very sad Happy Heart due to the strict age policy. In desperation she picked up a night shift job at a grocery store as a shelf stocker which paid enough to get a small apartment. After several months of living in their apartment the rent was raised and with no other options she was forced to start working as a prostitute.
